Bud's art explores a wide range of human emotions and connections with the natural world, blending playful absurdity with deep reflection. Her style is characterized by bold illustrations, shiny “fades” with spray paint, and an inventive use of tools, skills, and materials.
Her graphics have been featured in both music and film, including collaborations with bands like TuneYards, U.S. Girls, and the Growlers, as well as directors such as Boots Riley and his feature film "Sorry To Bother You."
Recognized by Playboy Magazine as one of the top ten female digital artists to watch out for, and collected by Susan Sarandon, The Berkeley Art Museum, and a range of private collectors, Bud has painted large scale murals in Sweden, Mexico, Canada and across the U.S.
She is currently an artist in residence at San Francisco Gallery, and is preparing for a large solo show at The Midway, in S.F.
